Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH-32) conducts counselling for its own seats, while the All-India MCC round fills the All India Quota and central seats. (PGIMER, the major central institute in Chandigarh, admits through the separate INI-CET route.)

Who conducts this counselling
GMCH-32 conducts the counselling for the PG seats in its own institution, publishing the prospectus, verifying eligibility and declaring allotments.
The All India Quota and central-institution seats in Chandigarh are filled through MCC. PGIMER Chandigarh, being an Institute of National Importance, admits through INI-CET and its own counselling — not the MCC NEET PG rounds. In practice a Chandigarh aspirant engages with more than one route.

Register with MCC for the All India Quota
For the All India Quota and central seats, register on mcc.nic.in — an important route given Chandigarh's small institutional pool.
Register with GMCH-32 for its seats
For GMCH-32's institutional seats, register on the GMCH portal with your NEET PG details and complete its counselling steps.
Verification and choice filling
Complete document verification, then fill and confirm your choices in order of preference for each counselling you take part in.

Each counselling allots against its own merit and your choices; report to the allotted college within that round's rules.

No. PGIMER Chandigarh is an Institute of National Importance and admits through the separate INI-CET examination and its own counselling, not the MCC NEET PG rounds or GMCH's counselling.
How do GMCH-32 seats fill?
GMCH-32 conducts counselling for its own PG seats, applying its eligibility and any UT-pool/institutional-preference rules in its prospectus, alongside the AIQ share filled through MCC.
Do I need a Chandigarh domicile?
