GMCH Chandigarh MD/MS 2026: Registration Extended to 22 October for SC Category Candidates Only

Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Sector-32, Chandigarh, has issued a follow-up notice on admission to its MD/MS courses for Session 2026. It builds on the college's earlier notice of 16 October 2026.

Because of a pending court case (CWP No. 35096 of 2026) before the Punjab and Haryana High Court, the window to submit the online registration/application form, with the required certificates, documents and fee, has been extended till 22 October 2026. This extension is only for candidates of the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.

For General, OBC-NCL and EWS candidates, including PwBD candidates within these categories, nothing changes: the schedule in the 16 October notice still applies. The college has made clear that applications from these categories submitted during the extended period will not be considered.

If you are an SC candidate seeking an MD/MS seat at GMCH Chandigarh and have not applied yet, complete the online form with all documents and the fee by 22 October 2026.
