We are a counselling service — we don't sell or “book” seats. Every management, NRI and deemed-university PG seat is allotted only through official counselling (MCC or the state counselling authority). We help you plan, apply and choose well at every step — transparently, with figures from official documents.

How paid PG seats are allotted

Deemed universities — through MCC

MCC counsels every deemed-university PG seat on mcc.nic.in, round by round. Besides merit seats, deemed universities have paid, NRI and (in some) minority quotas — all filled through the same MCC rounds.

Private colleges — through state counselling

Private medical colleges' management and NRI seats are allotted through each state's own PG counselling. Who is eligible, domicile rules and the documents asked differ from state to state — the current information bulletin is the final word, and we go through it with you.

Before you decide — what families weigh up

  • Total cost, not just tuition

Tuition is charged for each year of the course, and colleges can have other charges too — compare the full official figure.

  • Bond, stipend and penalty

These differ widely between colleges and quotas. Check them before you lock a choice.

  • Which counsellings to join

MCC (deemed) and one or more states can run side by side. Each has its own registration, deposit and rules.

  • Pay only through counselling

Fees and deposits go to the counselling authority or the allotted college as the bulletin says — never to an agent.

NRI quota — documents usually asked for

The exact list, formats and deadlines are in each authority's information bulletin — these are the ones that commonly come up.

  • ✓Your NEET PG admit card and result
  • ✓MBBS degree / internship completion and medical registration
  • ✓Sponsor's passport and proof of NRI status (visa / residence permit)
  • ✓Proof of your relationship with the sponsor
  • ✓Sponsorship affidavit / undertaking in the authority's format
  • ✓Embassy or consulate certificate, where the bulletin asks for it

Management & NRI quota — FAQs

Can I get a management or NRI PG seat directly from a college?

No. Every management, NRI and deemed-university PG seat is allotted only through official counselling — MCC for deemed universities, and the state counselling authority for a state's private-college management and NRI seats. Anyone offering to 'book' a seat outside counselling is not following the official process. GooCampus is a counselling service: we help you plan, register and choose well — we don't sell seats.

Who conducts counselling for deemed-university PG seats?

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) counsels all deemed-university PG seats, including their paid and NRI quotas, on mcc.nic.in, round by round alongside the All India Quota.

Do I need a NEET PG rank for a management or NRI seat?

Yes. MD/MS admission is through NEET PG, and paid seats are allotted through counselling on the basis of NEET PG merit and the eligibility rules in each authority's information bulletin.

Who can take an NRI-quota PG seat?

NRI-quota seats are for candidates who meet the NRI definition in that authority's bulletin — typically NRI candidates or candidates sponsored by an eligible NRI relative — with supporting documents. Rules differ between MCC and each state, so check the current bulletin; we go through it with you.

How much does a management or deemed PG seat cost?

Fees differ widely by college, state and quota. We share the official fee for each college you're considering on the call and in your dashboard; verified 2026 fees will be published once the authorities release them.
