GMCH Chandigarh MD/MS 2026: Revised Dates — Apply 14–19 Oct, Choice Filling 23–26 Oct, Result 28 Oct

Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh has issued revised dates for admission to its MD/MS courses for the 2026 session. The notice, dated 16 October 2026, replaces the earlier timeline.

The prospectus has been available on the GMCH website since 14 October. Online registration, with the required certificates, documents and fee, runs from 14 to 19 October 2026. A list of candidates with deficient documents will be displayed on 20 October, and those candidates can submit the missing documents from 20 to 22 October. The list of provisionally eligible candidates will be published on 23 October.

Online filling and locking of MD/MS choices is scheduled for 23 to 26 October, with the first counselling result on 28 October. Selected candidates must report between 28 and 30 October. Dates for seat surrender, the second, third and stray vacancy rounds, and the second-round seat matrix will be announced later on the GMCH website. The academic session is to begin on 20 November 2026.

GMCH notes that the schedule may change on the direction of the competent authority, NMC or the courts. Candidates for Chandigarh UT-quota PG seats should apply on gmch.gov.in by 19 October and keep checking the site for updates.
