Assam NEET PG 2026: Apply by 16 October (12 PM) to Change Category for State Quota Counselling

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam, issued an educational notice on 13 October 2026 for candidates eligible for state-quota PG admission. It covers those who want to change the category recorded for them. Eligibility follows the Medical Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses) Rules, 2021, as amended.

Such candidates must write an application on plain paper, attach valid supporting documents and submit it at the DME office (2nd floor, Room No. 5, Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati). The deadline is 16 October 2026 at 12:00 PM. The notice does not list the documents needed, so carry the category certificate you are claiming.
