WBMCC NEET PG 2026: Notice cum Information Bulletin Out for State, Management and NRI Quota Counselling

The West Bengal Medical Counseling Committee (WBMCC), under the state's Department of Health and Family Welfare, has released its Notice cum Information Bulletin dated 14 October 2026 for NEET PG 2026 counselling. It covers MD/MS/DNB degree and diploma seats under the State Quota, Private Management Quota and NRI Quota, and the round-wise Round 1 schedule was issued on the same day.

State Quota seats are open only to candidates who passed MBBS from West Bengal or are in service with the state health department; 40% of state-quota degree seats and 50% of diploma seats are reserved for in-service doctors. Management Quota seats are open to any NEET PG 2026 qualified Indian candidate, while NRI-quota candidates cannot opt for state or management seats. The counselling fee is Rs 3,000 (non-refundable). Candidates who want private-college state-quota choices must also pay a Rs 2 lakh security deposit, and Rs 5 lakh for private management-quota choices.

After paying, candidates download a Candidate Profile Letter and attend physical document verification at the assigned venue before choice filling (Swasthya Bhaban for in-service candidates; NRI candidates are verified at admission). Counselling runs in Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and an online stray vacancy round. Round 1 allows free exit, but the deposit is forfeited for non-reporting from Round 2 onwards, and seat surrender is not allowed from Round 3.
