The West Bengal Medical Counseling Committee (WBMCC) has published a tentative Round 1 schedule, dated 14 October 2026, for NEET PG 2026 counselling to State Quota, Private Management Quota and NRI Quota seats in West Bengal.
Online registration opens at 11 AM on 22 October and closes at 6 PM on 28 October 2026; the fee can be paid until 12 midnight on 28 October. Candidates who have registered and paid will be verified at their assigned college and time slot on 26, 27, 28 and 29 October, between 11 AM and 4 PM. NRI candidates are not part of this verification step. The list of verified candidates and the Round 1 seat matrix will be published after 2 PM on 30 October.
Verified candidates can fill and lock choices from 4 PM on 30 October until 12 midnight on 1 November. The Round 1 allotment result will be out after 4 PM on 4 November. Allotted candidates must report to the allotted institute with original documents, the college fee and the bond on 5, 6, 7 and 10 November, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission to private medical colleges will be held at designated government medical colleges in Kolkata, as a separate notice will explain.
