Delhi is different from most states: it does not run a state PG counselling of its own. Its MD/MS seats — in Delhi University colleges, IP University (GGSIPU) institutions and central institutions — are counselled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) as part of the All India counselling.
So for a Delhi seat you register and fill choices on mcc.nic.in. What changes from seat to seat is the quota it falls under — All India, Delhi University or IP University — and each quota has its own eligibility.
Who conducts this counselling
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of the Directorate General of Health Services conducts counselling for Delhi's PG seats, alongside the rest of the All India counselling.
The universities define their quotas and eligibility; MCC runs the registration, choice filling and seat allotment for them on mcc.nic.in.
What seats it fills
- All India Quota PG seats in Delhi's government and central institutions.
- Delhi University (DU) quota PG seats — counselled by MCC.
- IP University (GGSIPU) quota PG seats — counselled by MCC.
Who is eligible
A qualifying NEET PG rank is required for every route. The All India Quota is open on all-India merit with no domicile requirement.
The Delhi University and IP University quotas carry their own eligibility, set out in MCC's information bulletin each year — check which quota a college's seat falls under before you plan.
- A qualifying NEET PG rank/percentile for your category.
- MBBS from a recognised college with completed internship.
- Valid medical-council registration.
- For the DU and IP University quotas: the university-quota eligibility in that year's MCC bulletin.

The process, step by step
Register on MCC
Register for NEET PG counselling on mcc.nic.in and pay the registration fee — this is the one counselling for Delhi's PG seats.
Declare the quotas you're eligible for
Seats in Delhi fall under the All India, Delhi University or IP University quotas. Make sure your eligibility for each is recorded so those seats appear in your choices.
Fill and lock choices
Order Delhi colleges and courses alongside the rest of your All India choices, by genuine preference, and lock them before the round deadline.
Allotment and reporting
MCC allots seats round by round; report to the allotted Delhi college with your documents within that round's window.

- NEET PG rank letter / scorecard and admit card
- MBBS degree / provisional certificate and mark sheets
- Internship completion certificate
- Medical-council registration certificate
- Class 10 certificate (date of birth)
- Documents supporting your Delhi University / IP University quota eligibility, where claimed
- Category certificate where reservation is claimed
- A government photo ID and recent photographs

Does Delhi have its own state PG counselling?
No. Delhi's MD/MS seats — including the Delhi University and IP University quotas — are counselled by MCC on mcc.nic.in, as part of the All India counselling.
How do I get a Delhi University or IP University quota seat?
Register with MCC and record your eligibility for that quota; those seats then appear in your MCC choices. The eligibility rules for each quota are in MCC's information bulletin for the year.
Do I need a Delhi domicile?
