Chhattisgarh NEET PG 2026: Round 1 Online Application Opens 22 October, Closes 27 October

The Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh has issued the online application notice for the first round of state-quota MD/MS counselling for admission year 2026 in the state's government and private medical colleges. Candidates who qualified in NEET PG 2026 can apply on the NIC counselling portal (cgdme.admissions.nic.in).

Applications are open from 22 October 2026, 11 AM, to 27 October 2026, 11:59 PM (server time). Choice filling and locking runs from 22 October, 11 AM, to 28 October 2026, 11:59 PM. The non-refundable application fee is Rs 2,000 for all categories and Rs 10,000 for NRI quota. A refundable security deposit is also payable: for government college seats, Rs 25,000 (UR) or Rs 12,500 (SC/ST/OBC); for private college seats (or private plus government), Rs 2,00,000 for all categories. The deposit is forfeited if a candidate is allotted a seat in a later round and does not join, or joins and then leaves the seat.

EWS eligibility will be decided only from the category recorded in the NBEMS NEET PG 2026 result; no change to EWS is allowed at state level. Applications can be edited free of charge until the closing date even after Lock & Submit. In-service candidates must upload a service certificate. The notice advises paying from the candidate's own or a parent's bank account, keeping an alternate account active for refunds, and finishing the application at least 24 hours before the deadline.
