MCC NEET PG 2026: List of Medical Assessment Boards for PwBD Eligibility Certificates Released

MCC has published the list of Appellate and Primary Medical Assessment Boards where PwBD candidates can obtain disability eligibility certificates for NEET PG 2026 counselling.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the list of Medical Assessment Boards authorised to issue eligibility certificates to candidates with benchmark disabilities (PwBD) for NEET PG counselling. The list gives each centre's state, city, the specialities for which it can assess candidates under NMC guidelines, and the nodal officer's name, email and phone number.

There are two tiers. Five Appellate Boards are listed: Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, which handles appeals for all specialities, and regional appellate centres at IPGME&R Kolkata, Sir JJ Group of Hospitals Mumbai, SS Hospital IMS-BHU Varanasi and RGGGH/Madras Medical College Chennai. In addition, 65 Primary Medical Assessment Boards are spread across the country, including AIIMS centres, major government medical colleges and specialised institutes such as AIISH Mysore and AIIPMR Mumbai.

Not every board assesses every type of disability. Some cover only locomotor or visual conditions, while others handle hearing, speech, psychiatric or neurological assessments. Candidates should pick a centre that lists the speciality relevant to their disability.

According to MCC's PG counselling rules, PwBD candidates need an online eligibility certificate from one of these designated boards before choice filling begins in order to be considered for PwD seats. MCC itself does not issue or verify these certificates. The full list with contact details is on mcc.nic.in.
