MCC corrigendum: NRI Category-I and Category-IV candidates must additionally submit the valid passport of the parent/sibling/sponsor for Round 1 registration and verification.
The Medical Counselling Committee has issued a corrigendum, dated 14 October 2026, to the NRI chapter of the PG Information Bulletin for Round 1 of PG Counselling 2026.
Over and above the documents already listed in the bulletin for claiming an NRI seat, candidates in Category-I (NRI candidate, or NRI parents, real brother or real sister) and Category-IV (Indian to NRI) must now also submit a valid passport of the parent, real brother, real sister or sponsor concerned. This passport is required at registration and during verification.
Candidates applying under these NRI categories should keep the relevant passport copy ready along with the other NRI documents before registering for Round 1 on mcc.nic.in. The corrigendum is available on the MCC website.
