Tamil Nadu PG Medical 2026-27: Fee Structure Released for Government, Management and NRI Quotas
TN Selection Committee has published the 2026-27 PG Degree/Diploma fee structure — Rs 3.5 lakh (Govt quota, clinical), Rs 16 lakh (Management), Rs 29 lakh (NRI).

The Selection Committee of the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Tamil Nadu, has issued a notice setting out the fee structure for PG Medical Degree and Diploma courses for the 2026-2027 session.
For a clinical PG degree, the notice lists Rs 3,50,000 under Government quota, Rs 16,00,000 under Management quota and Rs 29,00,000 under NRI quota. For non-clinical PG degrees and for PG Diploma courses, the figures are Rs 3,00,000 (Government quota), Rs 5,00,000 (Management quota) and Rs 19,00,000 (NRI quota).
Separately, Government-quota seats in Government medical colleges carry a fixed fee of Rs 50,000 per year for MD/MS degree courses and Rs 20,000 per year for PG Diploma courses, as per existing Government Orders. Eligible differently abled candidates are exempt from tuition fee and special fee during NEET PG counselling and admission in Government medical institutions.
Candidates taking part in Tamil Nadu PG counselling should check these amounts against their budget before choosing colleges and quotas. The official notice is available on tnmedicalselection.net.
