Kerala PG Medical 2026: Government Approves Final Seat Matrix for Govt and Self-Financing Colleges

The Kerala Health & Family Welfare Department has issued a Government Order (G.O.(Ms) No. 360/2026/H&FWD) approving the seat matrix for MD/MS admissions in Government Medical Colleges and self-financing medical institutions for the 2026-27 session. The order also ratifies the CEE's earlier step of publishing the matrix provisionally so that option registration could go ahead.

The 24-page annexure gives college-wise and course-wise seat counts with the category-wise split (UR, SC, ST, Ezhava, Muslim, other backward groups, EWS, PwD, ex-servicemen and others) for state-quota seats. For example, Government Medical College, Alappuzha shows 44 state-quota seats excluding in-service seats.

Candidates should use this approved matrix to understand where seats exist in their category before the next phase of allotment. The order is available on cee.kerala.gov.in.
