Tamil Nadu has issued the tentative Round 1 PG counselling schedule: registration, payment and choice locking from 31 October to 3 November 2026 (5 PM), result on 5 November.

The Selection Committee, DME&R Chennai, has released the tentative Round 1 counselling schedule for PG Degree/Diploma courses for 2026-27. It covers government medical colleges, Government and Management (including Minority and NRI) quota seats in self-financing colleges, and the 20% and 50% seats of CMC Vellore.
Registration, fee payment and choice filling with locking run from 31 October 2026 (12:01 PM) to 3 November 2026 (5 PM). Government quota is open to General Rank 1 to 7952 (NEET marks 705.64 down to 226); Management quota to General Rank 1 to 3643 (marks 625 down to 226). Choices left unlocked at the deadline are locked automatically. Seat allotment is processed on 4 November and the result is out on 5 November. Allotted candidates download the provisional allotment order from 5 to 10 November (3 PM), paying tuition fee online, and must join by 10 November, 5 PM.
The registration fee is Rs 1,000 per quota. Refundable security deposits are Rs 30,000 (government colleges), Rs 1,00,000 (government quota in self-financing colleges) and Rs 2,00,000 (management quota).
