J&K BOPEE NEET PG 2026: Round 1 Seat Matrix Released for MD/MS and PG Diploma

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has published the seat matrix for the first round of online counselling for NEET PG (MD/MS/PG Diploma) courses 2026. The matrix is marked operative from 28 October 2026 (version 1.0).

It lists discipline-wise seats at GMC Jammu, GMC Kathua, GMC Rajouri, GMC Srinagar, SKIMS Srinagar, GMC Anantnag and GMC Baramulla, split between Open Merit categories and UT of Ladakh, plus payment seats at ASCOMS Jammu (open merit government, management, Hindu minority and NRI). The category summary shows 360 government seats for J&K and Ladakh, of which 138 are Open Merit, and 51 ASCOMS payment seats. Only two PG Diploma seats are on offer (Dermatology and Immuno-Haematology & Blood Transfusion).

The notes explain 4% reservation for UT of Ladakh candidates and 1% each for sports, children of defence personnel and children of paramilitary/UT police personnel, applied horizontally. Candidates should go through the seat matrix before filling choices for Round 1. The PDF is on jkbopee.gov.in.
