Kerala PG Medical 2026: Round 1 Option Registration Opens 27 October, Closes 31 October, 10 AM

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has started the first phase of centralised allotment to PG Medical Degree courses for 2026. Eligible candidates on the Kerala State Merit List who applied for PG Medical admission can register their course-college options online from 27 October 2026 until 31 October 2026, 10:00 AM. The allotment and joining schedule will be announced later.

Options are registered by logging in to the 'PG Medical 2026 - Candidate Portal' on cee.kerala.gov.in with the application number and password and using the 'Option Registration' menu. A security deposit of Rs 10,000 is payable at the time of option registration (Rs 5,000 for SC/ST/OEC and other fee-concession candidates); it is refunded after counselling ends. Candidates seeking Minority or NRI quota seats in self-financing colleges must register options in this first phase, or they will not be considered for those quotas. Service quota and PwD quota seats will be allotted in later phases, but such candidates wanting other seats should give options now.

Phase 2 allows no fresh option registration, only confirmation, deletion or rearrangement of existing options, and confirmation is compulsory to take part. Fresh options are allowed again in the third round, followed by a stray vacancy round. Candidates whose merit-list position is withheld can register options, but they will be considered only if the defects are cleared before 11:30 AM on 29 October 2026.

The notification also lists the tuition fees for government and self-financing colleges. Give options only for seats you are sure to join, and check the official notification on cee.kerala.gov.in.
