Puducherry CENTAC PG Medical 2026-27 Information Brochure Released

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry, has released its Information Brochure for admission to PG Medical (MD/MS) courses for 2026-27. CENTAC fills 50% Government Quota seats at IGMCRI, all Government Quota seats in the private colleges (PIMS, SMVMCH and SVMCH&RC), all Management Quota seats, and the Telugu Minority Management Quota seats at SVMCH&RC. AIQ, central and deemed seats remain with MCC.

Candidates must have passed final MBBS and completed the compulsory rotatory internship by 30 September 2026. Only one online application is allowed, and a candidate can choose Government Quota, Management Quota or both at the time of applying; no quota can be added later. All certificates for UT of Puducherry candidates must be dated on or after 1 January 2026. The application fee is Rs 1,500 (SC/ST/PwD) or Rs 3,000 under the Government Quota, and Rs 5,000 for the Management Quota or both quotas.

Counselling runs in Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and a Stray Round, with draft, revised draft and final merit lists. Round 1 needs no registration fee; Round 2, Round 3 and Stray require a registration fee (for example Rs 25,000 Government Quota and Rs 2,00,000 Management Quota in Round 2). Fresh course preferences are needed every round. The brochure itself gives no dates — CENTAC will announce them through notices on www.centacpuducherry.in.
