Bihar PGMAC 2026: Registration & Choice Filling (Rounds 1 & 2) Opens 22 Oct, Closes 28 Oct

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has published its detailed advertisement (No. BCECEB(PGMAC)-2026/01, dated 18 October 2026) for Post Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (PGMAC) 2026. It covers MD, MS, PG Diploma and DNB seats in government and private medical colleges of Bihar, filled on the basis of NEET PG 2026 ranks. There will be four rounds, all conducted online.

One online registration covers both Round 1 and Round 2. The window opens on 22 October 2026. Registration closes on 28 October at 10 PM, and the application with payment must be submitted by 11:59 PM the same day. The counselling fee is Rs 2,200 for all categories. A refundable security deposit is also payable: Rs 25,000 (UR/EWS) or Rs 12,500 (SC/ST/BC/EBC) for government colleges only, and Rs 2,00,000 for private colleges, or for government and private colleges together. Rank cards will be published on 30 October, and choices must be filled and locked by 31 October, 11:59 PM.

The Round 1 provisional allotment comes out on 4 November, with document verification and admission between 6 and 9 November. Round 1 allottees have a free exit. Round 2 choice filling runs from 19 to 21 November, its result is due on 25 November, and admission runs from 27 to 30 November. Private colleges in Bihar are open only to Bihar residents on reserved-category cut-offs.
