Assam DME NEET-PG 2026: 1st PG Counselling Notice and Provisional State Merit List Released

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam, has published a notice for the first round of PG counselling for Assam state-quota seats, together with the provisional merit list of NEET-PG 2026 candidates. The document was posted on 16 October 2026.

The provisional merit list ranks 3,584 candidates for Assam state-quota PG seats after adding incentive marks where applicable. For each candidate it gives the Assam state rank, NEET-PG roll number, category, original and revised NEET-PG 2026 score, percentage of incentive marks, all-India rank, permanent state and the state where MBBS was completed.

The counselling notice itself is on the first page of the PDF as a scanned image, so its dates and instructions could not be extracted automatically. Candidates should open the official PDF on dme.assam.gov.in to check their name and rank in the provisional list, read the 1st counselling schedule, and report any discrepancy in the list within the time the DME allows.
