Maharashtra NEET PG 2026 Information Brochure Released: State Quota MD/MS/Diploma Admission Rules

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has published the NEET PG 2026 Information Brochure for admission to MD, MS and PG Diploma courses in the state. It covers the 50% state-quota seats in government, government-aided and corporation medical colleges, and seats in unaided private, minority and private health sciences university colleges in Maharashtra.

The brochure was drafted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research and approved by the state's Medical Education and Drugs Department. It sets out eligibility, seat distribution across college types, reservation, the registration and document-verification process, preference filling and the CAP rounds, including the stray vacancy round.

Candidates must upload and later produce, among others: the state NEET PG 2026 application form, NEET PG admit card and mark sheet, photo ID, proof of Indian nationality, MBBS degree or passing certificate, internship completion certificate (internship must be completed by 30 September 2026), medical council registration, proof of NMC recognition of the MBBS college, a medical fitness certificate and the Rs 3,000 fee receipt, plus category, PwD or in-service documents where applicable.
