KEA PG Medical 2026: PwBD Medical Assessment Deadline Moved to 17 October (Was 8 October)

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued an updated notice on the medical assessment of PG Medical 2026 applicants under the disability (PwBD) quota. The notice is dated 14 October 2026 and keeps the same reference number as the 3 October notice.

The main change is the deadline. The 3 October notice asked PwBD candidates to approach the designated medical boards by 8 October 2026. Under the new notice, candidates who applied under the PwBD quota must complete their medical assessment at those boards by 17 October 2026.

The boards are unchanged from the list given on 3 October: Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, KIMS Hubballi, BIMS Belagavi, GIMS Kalaburagi and AIISH Mysuru. The assessment follows the NMC's 16 September 2026 guidelines on assessing persons with benchmark disabilities for PG medical admission, and the board's decision on eligibility is final.

If you claimed PwBD and have not yet been assessed, go to one of the designated boards before 17 October. Carry the documents listed in the 3 October notice: those required by the guidelines, your NEET PG score card and the final printout of your KEA application.
