Jharkhand NEET PG 2026: JCECEB Advisory to Update Resident, Category, PwD and In-service Certificates

JCECEB advises NEET-PG 2026 aspirants to get Jharkhand resident, category, EWS, PwD and in-service certificates updated before the state merit list application opens.

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) will run online counselling for PG Medical (Degree/Diploma and DNB) state-quota seats. Counselling will use a state merit list based on NEET-PG 2026 results, and the board has issued an advisory (Advt. No. 88, dated 25 September 2026) ahead of the online application for that merit list.

Candidates should get their local resident, ST/SC/BC-I(NCL)/BC-II(NCL) and Income & Assets (EWS) certificates updated. These must be issued by an officer not below the rank of Sub-divisional Officer (Civil) in Jharkhand. PwD certificates are valid only if issued by RIMS, Ranchi. Candidates claiming in-service benefit must upload a certificate from their Civil Surgeon.

A candidate who claims a category in the state application that differs from their NEET-PG 2026 application will be treated as Unreserved. The exception is a difference between the Central and State caste lists, where the original caste certificate must be uploaded with the form. OBC candidates of NEET-PG 2026 can choose either BC-I or BC-II.

No application dates are given yet. Arrange these certificates now and watch jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in for the application notice.
