Superseded by the revised valid-documents guidelines (11 Oct) — dismiss. Odisha PG Counselling Committee lists 14 documents and their validity rules (QR/barcode certificates, internship by 30 Sep 2026). Later revised on 11 Oct.
The PG (Medical) Counselling Committee 2026-27 at MKCG Medical College, Berhampur has issued guidelines (No. 35, dated 10 October 2026) on which documents are accepted as valid for Odisha state quota PG Medical counselling. Note: a revised version of these guidelines was issued on 11 October 2026; use the revised version.
Documents needed by all candidates include the NEET PG scorecard and allotment letter, MBBS degree and marksheets from an NMC/MCI-recognised institution, an internship completion certificate showing completion on or before 30 September 2026 (or as notified by NBEMS), and a medical registration certificate from the OMC or NMC/MCI that is valid on the date of online registration. Allotted candidates must give the original College Leaving / Transfer Certificate and, except for private college seats, an indemnity bond on Rs 21 non-judicial stamp paper with two sureties.
Category certificates have strict rules: the Permanent Resident Certificate, ST/SC certificate and SEBC-NCL certificate must be online-generated copies with a QR code or barcode, and handwritten or illegible copies are rejected. SEBC-NCL and EWS certificates must be issued on or after 1 April of the admission year. PwD certificates must come from DGHS/MCC-notified boards, Ex-Servicemen certificates from the Rajya Sainik Board, Odisha, and Green Card claims need the parents' original card.
