UP NEET PG 2026 Counselling Brochure Released: Eligibility, Fees, Security Deposit and Admission Documents
DGME Uttar Pradesh has released the UP NEET PG 2026 brochure covering eligibility, reservation, Rs 3,000 registration fee, security money, choice filling, resignation and service bond.
The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh has published the information brochure for UP NEET PG 2026 counselling (MD/MS/Diploma/DNB/MDS) for government and private colleges. It follows the state policy Government Order dated 23 July 2026 and does not give counselling dates; those will come in a separate schedule.
Key points: candidates must have qualified NEET PG 2026 and complete internship by 30 September 2026. Government state-quota seats are only for MBBS graduates of UP colleges (excluding AMU, BHU, AIIMS Raebareli and AIIMS Gorakhpur); others, including graduates from outside UP, are eligible only for private college seats. Only in-service PMHS doctors are eligible for state-quota DNB seats. Reservation in government seats is SC 21%, ST 2%, OBC 27%, EWS 10% and PwD 5% (horizontal); reserved candidates from other states count as unreserved, and EWS/OBC certificates must be issued on or after 1 April 2026.
Registration is online on upneet.gov.in with a non-refundable fee of Rs 3,000 covering Rounds 1–3; the stray vacancy round needs fresh registration with another Rs 3,000. Security money is Rs 30,000 (government seats only), Rs 2,00,000 (government and private medical) or Rs 1,00,000 (dental); without it you cannot fill choices. Round 1 allows free exit, upgradation is possible up to Round 3, and not joining a stray-round seat means forfeiture and a bar from 2027 counselling. Government college admissions carry a two-year service bond (Rs 40 lakh for degree).
