Himachal NEET PG 2026: In-Service Medical Officers Told to Get Incentive Certificate/NOC Immediately

Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has issued a notice on the State Common/Centralised Online Counselling for PG (MD/MS) courses for session 2026-27. The counselling will fill 50% state-quota PG seats in Himachal government medical colleges and all seats in the state's private unaided medical colleges, and the university says the process will start shortly.

In-service GDO Medical Officers of Himachal Pradesh who have qualified NEET PG 2026 and want to take part are directed to obtain their incentive certificate/NOC from the competent authority immediately, using the formats attached to the notice (Annexure B incentive certificate and Annexure C prior mandatory service certificate, based on the PG/SS Policy 2025).

Candidates must also get a latest service certificate issued by the competent authority after the date of this notice, and submit it with the enclosed format to the Directorate of Health Services, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla. For calculating incentive, the Director of Health Services will use the date of declaration of the NEET PG 2026 result as the cut-off date.

No deadline is given in the notice. In-service doctors should start the paperwork through their BMO/MS/CMO/Principal for countersignature by the DHS, and keep checking amruhp.ac.in for the counselling schedule.
