Puducherry CENTAC PG Medical 2026-27: Seat Matrix Released, 395 Seats Across Four Colleges

The Puducherry Health Secretariat has sent CENTAC the seat matrix for PG Medical (MD/MS) admissions for 2026-27, covering the Government and private medical colleges. CENTAC has published it on its website.

The matrix lists a tentative total of 395 seats across four colleges: Indira Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute, Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College. Of these, 197 are Government quota seats; the rest are Management, Telugu linguistic minority and All India quota seats. The Government quota seats are split across clinical and non-clinical subjects and by community reservation, with horizontal reservation for freedom fighters, persons with disabilities, ex-servicemen and meritorious sportspersons.

Candidates should study the seat matrix before updating their course preferences for Round 1. CENTAC allows preference updates until 9 November 2026, 5 PM.
