Manipur NEET PG 2026: State PG counselling registration 3 to 10 November, fees and schedule announced

The Directorate of Medical Education, Manipur, issued a notification on 2 November 2026 for the State-Level Medical PG Counselling 2026-27. Candidates who qualified NEET-PG 2026 are eligible to take part for admission to MD/MS/Diploma courses at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal; Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), Imphal; and Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS), Langol, Imphal. The entire counselling and seat allotment process is online through https://manipurmc.mn.gov.in, and registration on this portal is compulsory.

Tentative schedule: online registration and submission of application forms, choice filling and locking, and verification of documents, all from 3 to 10 November 2026; publication of the merit list of applied candidates on 13 November 2026; publication of the seat allotment result on 14 November 2026; reporting/joining at the allotted institute from 14 to 16 November 2026.

Registration is complete only after payment of a non-refundable application fee of Rs 5,000 for General category candidates and Rs 4,000 for OBC/SC/ST candidates, plus a refundable security deposit of Rs 20,000 for all candidates. The deposit is refunded after all applicable rounds of counselling, subject to the prescribed conditions, and can be forfeited in the circumstances listed in the counselling instructions.

Candidates applying under the In-Service Sponsored category must obtain a sponsorship certificate in the format given as Annexure A from their Directorate of Health Services or competent authority. The certificate is signed by the sponsoring authority and includes a statement of service in remote/difficult areas for incentive marks (10% for each year, maximum 3 years). Candidates appointed on contract or ad hoc basis are not considered under the In-Service Sponsored category, and no addition or alteration to the certificate is allowed.
