WBMCC PG Medical 2026: Admission Rules for Allotted Candidates — Documents, Bonds, Upgradation and Private College Desks

WBMCC sets out how allotted PG Medical 2026 candidates must take admission: allotment letter, original documents, bonds, willingness for upgradation and private college venues.

The Directorate of Medical Education, West Bengal (WBMCC) has issued an admission notice for WB PG Medical Counselling 2026. After each round's provisional allotment result, allotted candidates can download their allotment letter by logging in, until that round's admission schedule closes, as per the counselling schedule already published on the website.

To take admission, candidates must report to the allotted college within the round's admission window with all original documents and one set of self-attested copies, the verified slip, the allotment letter and four passport photos. The college keeps the NEET PG 2026 admit and rank cards, final MBBS mark sheet, MBBS degree or provisional certificate, permanent registration, PwD certificate (if applicable) and verified slip, and gives a receipt. A final physical document check happens at the college even after online verification. Government college seats need a Rs 5 lakh (degree) or Rs 2 lakh (diploma) discontinuation bond; private, trust and central institutes follow their own bond or bank-guarantee rules.

Round 1 admitted candidates can opt for upgradation in Round 2 and/or 3 by giving willingness online; they may defer the bond but must pay the course fee by the Round 3 admission process. Seat surrender is allowed only until Round 2. Private college admissions are handled at desks in NRS, Medical College Kolkata, CNMC, IPGMER and R G Kar.
