Karnataka PG Medical 2026: St John's Medical College Bengaluru Private-Quota MD/MS Fees and Seat Matrix Fixed

The Government of Karnataka's Medical Education Department has issued an order fixing the fees for private-quota MD/MS seats at St John's Medical College, Bengaluru, for the 2026-27 academic year. The order follows a request from the college's Dean and the earlier decision to carry forward 2025-26 fee levels for private colleges under the consensual agreement with the private college associations.

The attached table lists 147 PG seats across four categories: Roman Catholic religious nuns with SJMC-approved rural service (13), SJMC alumni with approved rural service (56), Roman Catholic Christians on all-India open merit (25) and general open merit (53). Annual fees, including the RGUHS registration fee, range from Rs 1,09,025 for pre-clinical subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and Forensic Medicine, to Rs 12,80,025 for Dermatology, Radiodiagnosis, Orthopaedics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. General Medicine (19 seats), Anaesthesia (14) and Radiodiagnosis (12) have the most seats.
