J&K NEET PG 2026: Revised Round 1 Seat Matrix Released — 342 MD/MS Seats for Allotment

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has released a revised seat matrix for the first round of online counselling for NEET PG MD/MS/PG Diploma courses 2026. It is marked version 1.01 and operative from 31 October 2026.

The matrix lists discipline-wise seats in GMC Jammu, Kathua, Rajouri, Srinagar, Anantnag and Baramulla, and in SKIMS Srinagar. Each is split between Open Merit and categories, with a share for UT of Ladakh candidates. ASCOMS Jammu's private seats are shown separately (open merit government, management, Hindu minority and NRI). For allotment, 342 MD/MS seats are distributed by category: OM 137, EWS 34, SC 28, ST-I 34, ST-II 34, RBA 34, ALC/IB 14, OBC 27 and STK/STL 14. Two PG Diploma seats are also listed.

The notes say 4% of government seats are reserved for UT of Ladakh candidates, and 1% each goes to the children of defence personnel, the children of para-military and UT police personnel, and sportspersons, as horizontal reservation. Candidates should review the revised matrix on jkbopee.gov.in before Round 1 choices close.
