Karnataka PG Medical 2026-27: Govt Order Keeps Private College MD/MS Fees Same as Last Year

A Karnataka Government order fixes 2026-27 MD/MS tuition fees in private medical colleges at the same level as 2025-26 — up to ₹13,72,994 for clinical subjects.

The Karnataka Medical Education Department has issued a Government Order on PG medical (MD/MS) fees for the 2026-27 admission year in private medical colleges, following discussions with the private college associations (KPCF, AMPCK and KRLMPCA). KEA has posted the order on its PG Medical 2026 page.

The order keeps the fees unchanged from 2025-26. For the higher fee category, the annual fee is ₹13,72,994 for clinical subjects, ₹3,43,253 for para-clinical subjects and ₹1,72,668 for pre-clinical subjects. For the lower fee category, it is ₹7,68,108 (clinical), ₹1,92,027 (para-clinical) and ₹96,015 (pre-clinical). KEA's separate provisional fee structure lists these as the private-quota and government-quota fees in private colleges (with a small additional amount on top).

The order is written in Kannada. The last two pages appear to be a Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences annexure about university fees, and the scanned copy is very hard to read.

What to do: before choice filling, use these fees and KEA's college-wise provisional fee structure to estimate costs. Confirm the exact fee for your seat type on the KEA website.
