Maharashtra NEET PG 2026: CET Cell Says Ignore Bank-Account Discrepancy; Fix Other Discrepancies Before Final Merit List

Maharashtra CET Cell says a parent's or relative's bank account given at registration will be accepted for the security deposit refund; all other flagged discrepancies must still be fixed.

The Maharashtra State CET Cell has issued a general notice for NEET PG 2026 candidates who registered for state-quota PG medical admission for 2026-27. During registration, candidates had to give bank account details for the refund of the security deposit. Some candidates gave a parent's or relative's account instead of their own, and the CET Cell marked this as a discrepancy in their login.

The CET Cell has now clarified that, once admissions are over, the security deposit will normally be refunded to the account it was paid from. Bank details of parents or relatives given at registration will be accepted for the refund wherever applicable. Candidates can therefore ignore a discrepancy that is only about the bank account.

Any other discrepancy shown in the candidate login must still be resolved through the candidate login before the final merit list is prepared. Candidates should log in to the Maharashtra CET Cell NEET-PGM 2026 portal and check that nothing else is pending.
