Karnataka PGET 2026 Information Brochure: Eligibility, Seat Types, Documents and Allotment Rules
KEA's PGET 2026 Information Brochure for PG Medical/Dental admissions in Karnataka: eligibility, seat classes (G/P/N/Q), documents, bonds and seat-allotment rules.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the Information Brochure for PGET 2026, covering admission to PG Medical and PG Dental courses in Karnataka for 2026-27 through NEET PG 2026 / NEET MDS 2026.
The 68-page brochure sets out the general instructions (internship cut-off, withdrawal and fee forfeiture, one-year compulsory rural service and three-year service after the course), general eligibility, rules for foreign medical graduates and foreign nationals, and the step-by-step online application. It explains the four seat classes: Government (G), Private (P), NRI (N) and Other (Q), with the eligibility for each, and lists the mandatory and clause-wise documents to be produced.
Later sections cover in-service candidates, the annexures (formats for internship completion, undertakings and bonds), option entry, mock allotment and the round-by-round seat-allotment logic. Non-Karnataka candidates are eligible only for general merit.
Read the brochure before registering on the KEA portal and keep the listed documents ready for verification.
