KEA PG Medical 2026: PwBD Candidates to Get Assessed at Designated Medical Boards by 8 October

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued a notice, dated 3 October 2026, for candidates seeking PG Medical admission in 2026 under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category.

Following the NMC guidelines of 16 September 2026 and the MCC notice of 28 September 2026, eligible PwBD candidates had to approach one of the medical boards designated by the Directorate of Medical Education, with a self-attested affidavit, for verification by 8 October 2026. The boards are at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, KIMS Hubballi, BIMS Belagavi, GIMS Kalaburagi and the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysuru. The board's decision on eligibility is final.

Only Karnataka candidates who claimed PwBD in their NBEMS application for NEET PG 2026 will be considered for the PwBD seats KEA allots. Candidates were to carry the documents required under the guidelines, their NEET PG score card and the final printout of their KEA online application.
