UP NEET PG 2026: Private College Allottees to Pay 2025-26 Tuition Fee Provisionally, Difference Later

UP DGME says candidates allotted private-college MD/MS seats must pay the 2025-26 tuition fee by demand draft for now, as the 2026-27 fee is still being fixed.

The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, has issued an important notice for candidates taking part in the UP NEET PG 2026 online counselling who are allotted MD/MS seats in private medical colleges in the state.

The notice explains that fixation of the PG tuition fee for private medical colleges for the 2026-27 academic session is still under process at the government level. Until that is decided, candidates allotted a private-college seat will complete admission at the designated nodal centre by submitting a demand draft for the tuition fee fixed for the 2025-26 session, drawn in favour of the Director General, Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, payable at Lucknow.

This fee is provisional and subject to the state government's final decision. If the government order fixing the 2026-27 fee changes the amount, allotted candidates will have to deposit the difference; this is mandatory.

Doctors who are choosing private colleges in UP should check the 2025-26 fee for their preferred colleges and branches, arrange the demand draft before reporting, and budget for a possible increase once the 2026-27 fee order is issued. The full notice is on the DGME UP website.
