SVIMS Tirupati PG Medical 2026-27: Revised MD/MS Admission Guidelines, Fees and Bond Rules Released
SVIMS Tirupati has issued revised MD/MS admission guidelines for 2026-27 covering its 67 seats, fees, stipend, bonds, compulsory service and documents for admission.
Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati, has published revised admission guidelines and regulations for its MD/MS courses for the 2026-27 academic year. The document was shared through Dr NTR UHS, which conducts state quota counselling, while All India Quota seats at SVIMS are filled through MCC.
SVIMS and SVIMS-Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women together list 67 PG seats across 21 specialities: 29 under All India Quota and 38 under State Quota. The annual tuition and other fees come to Rs 1,88,000, plus a one-time university fee of Rs 25,600 and refundable caution and hostel deposits. Stipend currently ranges from about Rs 96,951 a month in the first year to Rs 1,02,493 in the third. MS Orthopaedics trainees are placed at BIRRD Hospital with a separate, lower fee and stipend.
Selected candidates must sign two indemnity bonds: Rs 3 lakh (plus stipend received) for discontinuing the course, and Rs 40 lakh for not completing one year of compulsory service after the course. Both bonds need two gazetted officers as sureties. Hostel seats are not guaranteed, and AP Medical Council registration is required within one month of joining.
Doctors considering SVIMS should read the full guidelines on the Dr NTR UHS website before choice filling, and keep the listed original documents, demand drafts and bonds ready for reporting.
