St. John's Medical College PG Admission Bulletin 2026-27: 147 MD/MS Seats, Category Matrix and Fees

St. John's Medical College, Bengaluru, has released its 2026-27 PG bulletin listing 147 MD/MS seats across four categories, the fee chart and the extra certificates required.

St. John's Medical College, Bengaluru, has sent its PG Admission Bulletin 2026-27 (dated 28 September 2026) to the Directorate of Medical Education, with a copy to KEA. The cover letter is dated 7 October 2026. The document matches its title.

The college offers 147 MD/MS seats for 2026-27, split into four categories: Roman Catholic religious nuns/priests with SJMC rural service (13), SJMC alumni with SJMC rural service (56), Roman Catholic Christians on all-India merit (25) and general open merit (53). Unclaimed seats move down from Category 1 to 2, 2 to 3, and 3 to 4.

Admissions run only through KEA common counselling, so candidates must apply through KEA. Reserved-category applicants need extra certificates in the college's prescribed formats. Admitted students must sign a one-year social obligation service bond to serve at SJMCH or affiliated hospitals after the course; the penalty for default is Rs 5 lakh, and SJMC alumni who have completed two years of rural service are exempt.

Total first-year college fees range from about Rs 1.10 lakh for some pre-clinical subjects to about Rs 13.06 lakh for subjects such as Radiodiagnosis, Dermatology, Orthopaedics and OBG, excluding hostel and mess. Candidates should read the full bulletin on the KEA website before choice filling.
