MP NEET PG 2026: DME Issues Candidate Advisory for Round 1 State Counselling

DME Madhya Pradesh has issued a Round 1 advisory for state MD/MS/DNB/Diploma counselling covering registration fee, choice locking, upgradation and admission rules.

The Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, has issued an advisory for candidates in the first round of the MP State Combined Counselling for MD/MS, post-MBBS DNB and PG Diploma 2026. Counselling covers all state-quota seats in government and private colleges, including NRI and in-service seats, and runs on dme.mponline.gov.in under the MP Medical Education Admission Rules 2018 and later amendments.

Key points: registration is complete only after paying the non-refundable Rs 1,100 fee; all OTPs and emails go to the mobile number and email registered in the NEET PG database; bank details entered at profile creation are used for refunds. A Rs 100 portal fee is payable before choices are locked for the first time, and edited choices must be locked again. Non-institutional candidates (MBBS outside MP) can get only the 50% non-institutional seats in private colleges in Round 1. EWS candidates need an MP certificate for FY 2025-26. At admission, candidates must choose YES or NO for upgradation to Round 2, report in person to the allotted college and deposit original documents.

The advisory gives no dates; follow the official timetable on the DME portal.
