Dr. Dhaval Darji Pediatric ICU Specialist (PICU/ECMO/PCICU) | Dubai, UAEI’m a Pediatric Intensive Care specialist with a deep passion for managing critically ill children — particularly those in the Pediatric and Pediatric Cardiac ICU. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working across some of India’s and the UAE’s leading tertiary hospitals, including Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Asian Heart Institute, and Medcare Hospitals in Dubai.My clinical experience spans pediatric cardiac critical care, ECMO, and multi-organ support, with a strong focus on precision, compassion, and teamwork in high-acuity settings. At Asian Heart Institute, I served as Incharge of the Pediatric ICU, overseeing complex post-operative cardiac cases and leading a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving pediatric outcomes.Currently, I’m based in Dubai as a PICU Specialist at Medcare Hospitals, continuing my work with pediatric cardiac and intensive care patients while also mentoring young doctors passionate about pediatric critical care.Beyond medicine, my academic journey began at King’s College London, where I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Financial Economics. This background has helped me bring a structured, systems-based approach to healthcare delivery and leadership within critical care units. Through mentorship, I aim to guide young doctors who wish to pursue Pediatric Critical Care or Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care, helping them navigate training pathways, build strong clinical acumen, and prepare for the demands of a high-stakes specialty that truly tests one’s skill, patience, and heart.
