I am a medical doctor with experience in both clinical practice and health policy. I graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in General Medicine, Grad. Cert In Child Health and have worked in emergency and hospital-based settings, managing acute and chronic conditions, participating in multidisciplinary care and supporting patient-centred clinical decision making. I am currently working in Cardiology at Bendigo Hospital.Alongside my clinical work, I have experience in health policy and program management, having worked as a Senior Policy Officer with the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care, contributing to healthcare regulation, clinical governance and workforce planning initiatives. I have also managed programs supporting organisational goals, stakeholder engagement and structured training initiatives.I am also the founder of IMG Collective, a professional network supporting international medical graduates (IMGs) navigating the Australian healthcare system. Through this initiative, I have mentored over 200 doctors, providing guidance on career pathways, AMC exam preparation, interview readiness and workforce integration. My work also includes advocacy for IMGs, helping doctors understand opportunities, regulatory frameworks and strategies for successfully transitioning into clinical roles in Australia.As a mentor, I aim to support IMGs in understanding professional expectations, navigating regulatory systems, and building confidence as they transition into new healthcare environments.
