My core training spans perioperative care, intensive care, regional anaesthesia, and pain medicine, with a strong focus on cardiac anaesthesia and critical care.My clinical expertise lies in the peri-operative management of adult and complex congenital cardiac surgeries, cardiac and lung transplants, and major vascular and thoracic procedures. I am proficient in procedural skills such as invasive arterial and central venous access, pulmonary artery catheter placement, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and ECMO initiation, as well as point-of-care ultrasound and both transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.In addition to managing high-risk surgeries, I’ve also had experience providing anaesthesia in the cardiac catheterisation lab and managing critically ill patients in COVID ICUs. I’ve actively participated in national and international academic conferences and contributed to publications in peer-reviewed medical journals.Beyond my clinical and academic interests, I am passionate about mentoring young doctors and sharing insights into cardiac anaesthesia, echocardiography, mechanical circulatory support, and transplant care. I strongly believe in continuous learning and multidisciplinary collaboration to improve patient outcomes. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, sports, and engaging in public speaking—activities that have helped shape my interpersonal and communication skills both inside and outside the OR.
