About

Hey, I’m KP Balan. I studied Medicine at Manipal University, India and moved to Australia in 2017. Since 2019, I’ve been working here in the Aussie healthcare system. I passed both the AMC MCQ and the AMC Clinical (face-to-face) exams on my first try, with around 5–6 months of prep in between. Right now, I’m in the Emergency Department training program. I also run KP Balan Pty Ltd and represent International Medical Graduates (IMGs) as a Council Member for the Australian Medical Association (AMA) in WA. I know how overwhelming it can be—moving to a new country, figuring out the AMC process, and trying to break into the system. The pressure, the stress, and that urge to just start working—I’ve felt it all. That’s why I’m here to help. My focus is on guiding you through the Australian medical pathway, helping you choose what’s right for you, and supporting you through exam prep, CV building, and interview skills—basically everything you need to stand out to recruiters and land that job. And hopefully, we’ll get to work together in Australia one day!
