Hello, I’m Dr. Santhosh Manikandan — a passionate Geriatric and Palliative Care Physician, currently leading the Department of Geriatric Medicine, Palliative Care, and Home Care at GKNM Hospital, Coimbatore. I hold an MD in Geriatric Medicine from Madras Medical College, where I was honored with the University Gold Medal. I’ve also completed a Fellowship in Palliative Medicine from the Institute of Palliative Medicine, Kozhikode. My clinical journey is driven by a deep commitment to elderly care, especially in diagnosing and managing complex conditions in the aging population. Beyond the hospital setting, I strongly believe in the future of home-based care and am actively working to revolutionize home healthcare services to improve the quality of life for seniors in India.
