I am Dr. Karan Gupta, a committed physician with a strong foundation in clinical practice, medical education, and community advocacy. I earned my MBBS from Government Medical College, Patiala, and went on to complete my Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopedic Surgery from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. My clinical journey has taken me across various healthcare settings in Canada, including roles as an Associate Physician with Island Health in British Columbia, a Clinical Surgical Assistant at Alberta Health Services, and a Clinical Physician Assistant in Ontario. I've also contributed to medical research and documentation as a Medical Writer at Pharma Medica Research Inc. and as a Clinical Research Assistant with the World Headache Society. Beyond clinical work, I am deeply invested in guiding international medical graduates and aspiring physicians through critical transitions in their careers.
